OVERVIEW
Let’s get crackin’
A guide to one of Atlanta’s messiest and most loved food traditions. This book is a part of the larger How to ATL series that highlights different pieces of the city’s culture, this volume breaks down where to go, what to order, how spice levels and flavors work, and what makes the seafood boil scene feel so social and alive.
The challenge was turning a messy, hands on food experience into something clear, engaging, and visually organized without losing the personality of Atlanta’s seafood boil culture. I had to balance useful guidance with storytelling, making sure information like spice levels, ordering tips, and local spots felt fun instead of instructional.
